Combat patrol Necrons vs Space Marines   Leave a comment

First time playing combat patrol . Link had painted up a combat patrol Necron force so we were keen to try them out.

The marines muster in search of the data from the wreckage.
The Necrons have found the crash site .

The space marines advanced into the ruins destroying the Necron melee units but take two losses from fire on the terminator squad.

The infernus squad find themselves pinned down and unable to harm the Necron vehicle with their flame weapons.

The terminators charge the remaining Necrons planning to capture a second objective marker which they do but are then charged by the overlord and his warriors..

The warriors are easy to defeat but can be fixed through reanimation protocols and wear the terminators down thanks to the overlord himself .

The infernus squad charge out in desperation led by the captain but cannot harm the vehicle.

Eventually the Necrons have too much OBJECTIVE CONTROL and the two space marine leaders have to concede .

Well done Link and combat patrol was definitely a better size of battle for us today .
