Scenario One and first outing for our new rangers . Valdour and the Blue Wizard.

First outing also for our new battle mat from geek villain.

Valdour and his clansman and healer . Blue wizard with an archer and a rogue.
The heroes began by surging forward with Valdour . Spectres chased the escaping soldiers and take half damage from none magical attacks . This meant little to Blue Wizard who took one out in the second turn with a magic bolt. They closed in on Valdour who provided a distraction for the fleeing soldiers . He took 10 points of damage on one turn and was only saved by his clansman.
Next turn the wizard cast two fireballs and took out four spectres which was amazing and saved Valdour from being overwhelmed. The soldiers fled right into an orc sergeant .
Blue Wizard’s fireball was especially powerful because of taking enhanced powers and split cast.
Over the next few turns our heroes guarded the escape of six of the seven soldiers whilst the rogue managed to grab two clue tokens . First was a stone ring and the second a philtre of fairy dust . Both of Valdour’s companions were taken out and Blue Wizards archer who took a nasty permanent leg wound .
With the final turn completed our heroes had gained 80 xp. We certainly enjoyed our first scenario in the campaign . Next we return to Gwalchmai and Link as they scout out an Orc Camp.
These are grey company rangers .
