The final scenario in our mini campaign on the siege of Edoras.

Rohan start in the centre within the walls of Edoras . Perhaps the market square . Surrounded by the wild men led by Wulf and Targg.
We used infantry leaders on both sides this time .
Archery proved effective but short lived on the invaders with their low defence but also against the Rohan troops .
Link chose to maintain formation with the sons within the shield wall and held for the initial charge rather than being drawn out .

The Rohan warriors began to fall but so did Wulfs warriors and he was surrounded by the dons of Helm. He even took a hit from Hama using his bow as he advanced .
Targg gave priority away leaving his boss in big trouble . This time there was a rules question about heroic challenge. Wulf accepted do gained a bonus in the fight phase but could also have heroic strike . In the end we perhaps mistakenly ruled he could not do both but of course in that case the challenge would never have been called . Basically if you want to fight do not call heroic challenge they turn .
Wulf lost the tied fight value roll off and was trapped . Then killed.

With Wulf dead the heroes attacked Targg who was easily eliminated by Haleth who is a mighty warrior indeed.
So with both heroes dead even though they had a lot of reinforcements arriving evil could not see a way of winning . Rohan was holding the VP POSITION and had killed the enemy leaders . So victory to Link and Rohan and what a great scenario . Next time mounted leaders and perhaps some traitors too !!
Printed some walls for napoleonic or ww2 period games.
Needs a little more work such as corners. Will need to recall what scale I printed the taller ones at!

Low walls just need to paint up the corners and add a spacer.
Base coat spray. Then craft paint taupe then highlight craft paint white . Grey for the stones and brown fur contrast paint for the bricks. Home made black ink wash to age them up. Burnt umber to the base. Applied a light brown wash to the lower parts first but not noticeable as perhaps too old a pot.
Green moss scatter on to the tops and bottoms then grass to the base.
Will varnish then try to find space in a box to store them.
Targg and the tribesmen burst through the gates . Edoras aflame! Can Hama hold them off !

Phil Mike Darryl and Bruce played the investigators who travelled on foot to Dunwich after the rail crash.
This time even though Darryl went insane the heroes managed to shoot , switch blade and ultimately baseball bat the the monster into submission.
Only two villagers were sacrificed as the guard dog was easily replaced . So now armed with some magic pink powder they are on to the next step with three players having chosen charisma in the hope of getting some of these new allies onto the board.
Thanks Mike for running the game !
Ready for the initial scenarios in the war if rohirrim box set .
