Battlelore
Heroes expansion. Second scenario. Uruk hai and saruman vs gondor and faramir. Phil played evil, mike good. The first game on the first move had saruman wounded by a trap. However his forces soon won the day. This was partly due to the devastating arbelestier units on the right flank.

The second game was a much closer affair. Both sides scored six flags each as gondor attacked strongly and rapidly against evils right flank to neutralise the arbelestiers. However a strong push on his left flank allowed saruman and his uruk hai to claim victory, taking the seventh flag after faramir’s elite rangers failed to destroy the phalanx as it pushed forward across the bridge.

All in all a good couple of games with some crucial lore cards played, like mike’s evades and phil’s mass shield. The most evil card play being false orders against mike’s battlelore right at the end of the second game.
