Here is the AAR from our game as outlined in the post below:
Bruce and Phil played as Parliament whilst Andy and Mike led the Royalists.
The Troops prepare for battle.
- The General surveys the scene
- The Cart!
- The Village.
- Games Night is so exhausting!
- The Cavaliers Three! Huzzah!
- The Royalists
- The Parliamentarian Dragoons and their Preacher.
- The Earl of Stilton and his Red Coated Guard.
How it all turned out
- The Earl of Stilton’s Guard prepare a proud defensive line! Resplendent in their red uniforms.
- Reload! Quickly!
- The Brave Earl of Stiltons Pikemen and Sergeant act totally out of character and oppose the cavaliers. They all manage to die in one attack.
- The Dragoons are ready for a fight! Ironically they are all sober. Next time no Leader Bonus for Drunkard rolls.
- Cavaliers advance on the rather nervous looking firing line.
- Cavaliers sweep around the Inn. The Earl of Stilton lies bleeding, defeated in a Duel by Sir Adam. Luckily their is a physician nearby to staunch the flow so maybe he’ll be back another day!
- Run away! Stilton’s Guard play the poltroons this day! They then fail to activate for several turns and then misfire when they finally get to shoot.
- The Cavaliers defeat the Dragoon Sergeant and Mounted Dragoon.
- Bruce’s Turn! Oh, Oh no activations just at the crucial point when the Dragoons needed to fight back.
- Victorious Cavalier
- The Cavaliers rout the Dragoons
- Parliamentarian troops flee the field.
So well done Mike and Andy with Mike’s Cavaliers Three doing especially well thanks to Sir Adam’s duel with the unlucky Earl of Stilton.
