More examples of Contrast paints. This time:
Hobbits such as Will Whitfoot and Baldo Tupenny plus two Shirrifs of the Shire. Bases painted in Army Painter leather brown, highlighted with Bone then Devlan Mud wash applied. Tufts and Grass added.
Next Two Dunlending Cavalry. Note it is best to spray varnish before basing at least once because the Contrast paints rub off easily. Rust added to give aged effect. Making the point that Dunlendings are probably relying on gear captured from the Forgoil or taken from battle fields as plunder and not really polishing this and up keeping themselves. Colour scheme focusing on browns and greys because Dunlending Wildmen do not have access to dyes or put much focus on trade. Note the effect on the cloaks using contrast paints on both these two and the heroes below.
Bases painted with contrast paint, A little graveyard earth type citadel brown to highlight and onto base edge. Then tufts and grass.
Three Dunlending Heroes.
